This Friday morning, from 6 am - 10 am, Martin Bandyke from 107.1 will be broadcasting from our cafe at 217 N. Main St. We'll be selling our 12 oz. cups of coffee for $1.07 during the morning so come on down and join the fun. We'll be roasting coffee all morning too and full pounds of Guatemalan organic will be on sale for $10.70 as well. (Only from 6-10 am though...).
Mighty Good Lunch and Special Fall Drinks
We've partnered with our good friends on E. University to broaden our offerings at the cafe. You can now enjoy a fresh salad, wrap or sub sandwich at the cafe. These are prepared each day and delivered just before lunch time.If you can't make it to our side of town, you can always enjoy a fresh cup of Mighty Good Coffee at Revive + Replenish.
We've also added two fall drink specials. Steamed apple cider and chai-der which is steamed cider with our fresh made chai.
We'll be expanding our tea selections this month as well for those of you who want an alternative to coffee or want to bring friends who don't drink coffee.
Out on a limb because it's still all about the coffee
Of course, even though we've added a few food and drink options, we're still very focused on the coffee. This month, we have some really spectacular coffees arriving. While all our coffees are specialty grade and highly rated, I've been wanting to introduce a few things on the very upper end of the spectrum. Maybe that going out on a limb, but that's the beauty of what we do.
The first coffee is a fair trade organic Ethiopian Yirgacheffe from the Koke co-op. This coffee is floral, bright and sweet. The flavor is the result of exacting selection of the picked cherries before the milling process paired with a lighter roast to reveal the delicate nuances of this bean. I am really excited to have this even for a short time.
Second will be La Minita Estate Costa Rican. This is undoubtably the premiere Tarrazu coffee produced and we are able to procure this direct from the farm and mill. I visited this estate in early 2009 and saw first hand the quality of this coffee production from the care taken in maintaining the farm down to the milling process which is done on the farm as well. This is one of the first bags of the new crop that's just become available.
